Do not expect from others…

When we expect something from someone, we give them power over our emotions. We’re essentially saying, “I need you to behave in a certain way for me to feel good about myself.” But what happens when they don’t meet those expectations? We feel hurt, angry, or disappointed.

The truth is, people are going to do what they want, regardless of our expectations. So, why give them the power to control our emotions? By removing expectations from people, we take back control of our feelings and well-being.
