Emotionally healthy people tend to have fewer friends. They're selective, have boundaries, and are content being alone.

Emotionally healthy people tend to have fewer friends. This might sound counterintuitive, but hear me out. When you prioritize your own emotional well-being, you become more selective about who you surround yourself with.

You learn to set boundaries and recognize which relationships drain your energy. You’re no longer afraid to say no or walk away from toxic friendships.

Emotionally healthy people are also content being alone. They don’t need constant validation or distraction to feel whole. They’re comfortable with silence and solitude.

This doesn’t mean they’re antisocial or don’t value relationships. On the contrary, they cherish deep, meaningful connections with others. But they’re not afraid to be alone, either.

If you’re struggling to set boundaries or find yourself people-pleasing, it might be time to re-evaluate your relationships. Remember, emotionally healthy people prioritize their own needs and well-being.
