The Lord Fights for Me.

2nd Sunday of Simple Truths to repeat when you’re in a Soiritual Battle:

—— THE LORD FIGHTS FOR ME

When we face challenges and struggles in life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and alone. But as believers, we have a powerful truth to hold onto: the Lord fights for us. This promise is echoed throughout scripture, reminding us that we are not alone in our battles.

In Exodus 14:14, we read, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This verse reminds us that our role is not to fight in our own strength, but to trust in God’s power and provision. When we surrender our struggles to Him, He steps in to fight on our behalf.

The Lord’s fight is not just about winning or losing; it’s about His presence and protection in our lives. He stands with us, surrounds us, and shields us from harm. As David wrote in Psalm 23, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me.”

But how do we access this divine fighting power? We must come to the end of ourselves and acknowledge our need for God. We must surrender our fears, worries, and doubts, and trust in His goodness and love. When we do, we open the door for Him to move on our behalf.

The Lord’s fight is also about transforming us in the process. As we face challenges and struggles, He shapes us into stronger, wiser, and more compassionate people. He refines our faith, tests our character, and equips us for greater things.

So let us remember, dear friends, that the Lord fights for us. May this truth anchor our hearts, calm our fears, and fill us with hope and courage. May we stand still and watch Him work, knowing that His victory is our victory, and His triumph is our triumph.
