God's Grace in Every Morning.

As I wake up every morning at 3 a.m. to prepare for work, my mind has grown accustomed to this routine. Even on weekends, when I attempt to linger in bed, my internal alarm persists, reminding me of my early rising duty. However, this Monday was different. My body ached, my head throbbed and a persistent cough accompanied me. The unmistakable signs of illness were undeniable.

In that moment, I turned to prayer, seeking solace and strength. I reflected on my blessings, recognizing not everyone experiences God's grace as I do. My job, though challenging, with difficult people (sometimes), became a reminder of my purpose. I asked God to fill me with His spirit, from head to toe, empowering me to speak, hear and see from His perspective.

Remembering Romans 8:11, "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you," I found courage. I rose, ready for work, despite physical weakness.

Throughout the day, battling illness, I suppressed coughs and sneezes, but headaches persisted. Yet, amidst bodily suffering, my soul and spirit surged with energy. My heart, alive and peaceful, and soul, filled with purpose, yearned to make a difference.

This experience reinforced the boundless love of God, sustaining me through life's trials. In sickness and health, divine strength empowers me to face challenges, spreading love and kindness, reflecting God's image.

2. "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-discipline." - 2 Timothy 1:7

3. "The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health." - Psalm 41:3
