Be Still: From Frustration to Faith.

Last night was a tough one - allergies kicked in, asthma flared up, and sleep eluded me. Frustration crept in as I thought about the day ahead. But as I sat in stillness, sipping coffee and seeking God's direction, He led me to Job 38.

As I read about God's challenge to Job, I realized how often we question God's ways, especially in difficult times. We ask, 'Why? Why me?' without seeing the bigger picture. But God is always working behind the scenes, guarding us from harm and guiding us towards His great plans.

In the midst of struggles, it's easy to get frustrated and doubt God's goodness. But Job's response struck a chord with me: 'I am nothing, how could I ever find the answers?... I will cover my mouth with my hand.' (Job 40:4-5)

Sometimes, we just need to be still and let God work. As Psalm 46:10 reminds us, 'Be still and know that I am God.' His ways may be complicated, but His love for us is strong and unwavering.

As I reflect on my own struggles, I'm reminded to accept God's will with gratitude, even when I don't understand. 'Thank You, Lord!' becomes my prayer, even in the midst of challenges.

Today, I'm thankful for the unexpected turn of events that led me to seek God's presence. May we learn to trust God's plans, even when they don't make sense to us, and may we always remember to be still and let Him work.
