Luke 12:48

As I navigated the challenges of my day, I found myself confronted with overwhelming circumstances. My car, damaged by water and a recent crash, seemed like a constant reminder of my vulnerability. However, I chose to rebuke those feelings of despair, reminding myself of the powerful truth that "the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me!" (Romans 8:11)

In the midst of adversity, I found solace in keeping my focus on Jesus. As I went about my daily tasks, I did so in His name, drawing strength from His presence. This enabled me to overcome every obstacle and make decisions with confidence, even when they were difficult.

As a leader, I am often faced with tough choices that impact not only myself but also those around me. In these moments, I am reminded of Jesus' words, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's" (Matthew 22:21). This verse encourages me to prioritize my decisions, ensuring that I am honoring God while also navigating the complexities of the world.

Leadership can be a lonely and challenging road. There will be those who like and dislike me, and it's in those moments that I must remind myself that growth often requires strength and discomfort. As the apostle Paul wrote, "We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope" (Romans 5:3-4)

In the end, it's not about being liked or disliked; it's about being faithful to God's calling and purposes. As I strive to lead with integrity and wisdom, I am reminded that true growth and transformation require me to "shake off" old habits and embracing the new, even when it's uncomfortable.
