Trusting God in the Midst of Struggle

As I navigate the challenges of life, I am reminded of the importance of building my strength and trust in God. The enemy of my soul seems relentless in his attacks, throwing rocks of struggle and hardship my way. Despite my best efforts to move forward, his schemes continually push me back.

In these moments, I am tempted to ask God "why" and "how long" I must endure this pain. But instead, I am drawn to the words of Psalm 46:1-2, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."

These verses remind me that God is my rock, my refuge, and my strength. He is the one who can help me navigate the darkest of times. As I cry out to Him, I am reminded of the words of Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

In the midst of struggle, it can be tempting to lose faith and trust in God. But I am reminded that God is not blind to my pain. He sees my silent cries, and He hears my prayers. As I build my strength and trust in Him, I am drawn to the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

As I wait on God to deliver me from my struggles, I am reminded that He is faithful and trustworthy. He is my rock, my refuge, and my strength. I will continue to trust in Him, even when the enemy of my soul throws rocks of struggle my way.
