Navigating the Turmoil: A Call to Faith and Reflection.
As the world spins faster, life's challenges intensify, and God's presence often seems overshadowed. Despite biblical assurances that "by faith the walls of Jericho fell" (Hebrews 11:30), humanity builds barriers instead of tearing them down. God's Word promises to "make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland" (Isaiah 43:19), yet we close doors and block pathways.
In a world where "the way of the world is contrary to the way of God" (1 John 2:16), many pretend to live for God while serving themselves. Jesus warned, "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'" (Matthew 7:22). Yet, He will say, "I never knew you" (Matthew 7:23).
The line between good and evil blurs, and people rely on good deeds for justification. However, Scripture clearly states, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
In this chaos, let's pause and ask: What would Jesus do? Would He build walls or tear them down? Would He close pathways or open doors? May we reflect on God's Word and realign our actions with His teachings.
Let’s reevaluate our priorities and seek guidance from Scripture.
