Beyond Human Approval.
As we approach the final week of August, it's striking how swiftly the year has unfolded, bringing change to our world and our personal lives. Amidst the uncertainty, I choose to fix my gaze on the unwavering goodness of God. His faithfulness is my anchor, and I glorify His Name, knowing He's already orchestrated my future.
When my humanity wavers, my spirit strives to remain grounded in His unfailing love. Recently, a dream revisited past experiences, leaving a bitter taste in my mind. It reminded me of those who derive their identity from earthly achievements and positions, often belittling others. Yet, as children of God, we're defined by our heavenly Father, not by human accolades.
My time with my former employer was a test of my resolve. Despite the humiliation and pain, I remained steadfast, knowing my work was done for a Higher Purpose – to honor the Lord. My reward doesn't lie in human approval but in God's loving arms.
In Isaiah 49:16, God says, "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." Our plans, our struggles, and our triumphs are all etched in His hands. When we face humiliation and pain, our response can be one of hope and resilience, knowing we belong to Him. As Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
My journey is not defined by earthly successes or failures but by the promise of Eternal Life. In God's hands, every step forward, even through pain and humiliation, leads me closer to my prize. May we find strength in His love, fixing our eyes on the One who holds our future.
