God’s Strength…

As I lay in bed, the darkness of the early morning hours seemed overwhelming, and the weight of responsibility threatened to consume me. But as I whispered my doubts, a gentle yet firm voice within me responded, "You must! You are alive, and you must continue walking the plan God has for you!" (Jeremiah 29:11). These words echoed in my mind as I rose to tackle the day, and they became a rallying cry for my morning workout.

As I struggled with the weight bar, I was reminded of the struggles I've faced over the past two years. Yet, in that moment, I recognized that I am stronger – not because of my own strength, but because of God's presence within me. It's in these moments of struggle that we often discover the true depths of our faith. As the apostle Paul wrote, "My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

In the midst of life's challenges, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. But as Christians, we have the assurance that we are not alone. We have been made new creations through Jesus' triumph at Calvary (2 Corinthians 5:17). His strength is in us, enabling us to persevere and overcome even the most daunting obstacles.

As I looked out the window, watching the sun shine and my cats bask in its warmth, I was reminded that God is indeed in control. He is the One who gives us life, breath, and all things (Acts 17:25). Our struggles may be real, but they are not insurmountable. With God on our side, we can face each day with confidence and hope.

As I embarked on my morning work, I was filled with a sense of purpose and meaning. I realized that I didn't rise to my feet on my own strength, but because God's plan for me is greater than I could ever imagine. In dying to myself, I make room for Him to live in me (Galatians 2:20). This paradox of strength in weakness is at the heart of the Christian experience.

May we all find the courage to rise to our feet, to face each new day with faith and determination, knowing that God's strength is our own. May His plan for us unfold with each passing day, and may we find joy and purpose in His presence.
