I am not afraid. God is with me.
When deadlines and expectations weigh heavily on our minds, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious. But as children of God, we have the privilege of calling out to Him in our times of need. For me, surrendering my worries and fears to God was the key to finding peace and clarity. As I prayed, "LORD, get in my head right away. I need You! For You are wiser and a better planner than myself," I felt the weight of overwhelm lift, replaced by a sense of trust and assurance.
As I reflect on Noah's story, I'm struck by his unwavering faith and obedience to God's plan. Despite the uncertainty and seemingly impossible task of building an ark in a dry land, Noah trusted God's timing and promises. Unlike us, who are often driven by a need for speed and instant gratification, Noah's faith allowed him to move at God's pace, even when it seemed slow or unclear. This teaches me that God's timing is not our own, and His plans often unfold in ways we cannot see or understand.
In my own life, I've experienced the frustration and desperation that comes from trying to control outcomes and timelines. I've made mistakes that have cost me dearly, but through these experiences, I've come to understand that God is not a God of quick fixes or microwave meals. He's a God who works from scratch, often in ways that are mysterious and unseen. This realization has taught me to trust in His sovereignty and goodness, even when I don't see the outcome.
As I look to God's Word for guidance, I'm reminded of the promise in Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." These words speak directly to my heart, reminding me that I'm not alone in my journey. God is with me, guiding me, and working all things together for my good. This truth gives me the courage to keep moving forward, even when the road ahead seems uncertain.
In the midst of uncertainty and deadlines, I'm learning to lean into God's wisdom and plan. Isaiah 41:10 says, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This promise is a lifeline to me, reminding me that God's presence and power are available to me in every moment. As I trust in Him, I'm finding peace, courage, and strength to face whatever lies ahead.
