Patience in the Pot: Trusting God’s Timing.
In life, we often find ourselves comparing our journeys to those of others. We look around and see others achieving their goals, overcoming challenges, and experiencing success, and we can't help but wonder why we're not there yet. But the Bible reminds us that God's timing is not our own. In Ecclesiastes 3:1, it says, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Just like popcorn kernels in a pot, we are all being prepared in the same way, but our times of breakthrough are different.
As we wait for our turn to "pop," we must trust in God's sovereignty and timing. Psalm 37:23-24 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." Our focus should not be on comparing ourselves to others, but on trusting God's plan for our lives. When we do, we'll find peace and confidence in His timing, knowing that our turn to "pop" is coming.
