Plan A: GOD… Plan B: GOD.

In our darkest moments, it's easy to get desperate and grasp at any glimmer of hope that comes our way. We often find ourselves running towards the first exit that seems open, without stopping to consider if it's truly the right path. This tendency to rush towards solutions stems from our innate desire for control and self-preservation. However, when we take matters into our own hands and try to build a life based on our own instincts, we often end up out of alignment with God's will and plans for us.

The problem arises when we forget that we are not the master potters of our own lives. We like to enjoy the good things in life, and so we try to shape our own destiny, forgetting that God's plans for us are far greater than our own. When our self-made plans fail, we often blame God, asking Him why He allowed things to go wrong. But the truth is, we are the ones who have strayed from His path. As the Bible says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Proverbs 14:12)

Living a life grounded in Jesus is not easy. Many of us have tried to do things our own way, believing in ourselves and our own abilities, only to find ourselves lost and confused. We try to figure things out on our own, covering one area while uncovering another, but the end never seems to come. However, God's plans for us have always been the same - to enjoy the blessings He has given us and to praise Him for His goodness. As the Bible says, "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O God, endures forever. Do not abandon the work of your hands." (Psalm 138:8)

But sin and the enemy have twisted God's original plan, leading us down a path of hardship and struggle. Yet, God's plans are still available to us, still on the table for us to make a decision and move forward with Him. All we need to do is submit to Him and allow Him to do His work in us. As the Bible says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

When we make the decision to follow God, the enemy will undoubtedly try to shake us and show us what we're leaving behind. But I'm here to tell you that what I left behind is nothing compared to the amazing love that I feel now with Jesus. The world may try to convince us that we're nothing without its greatest things, but the reward that comes from following God is far more powerful and better than anything this world can offer. As Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) No matter what challenges we face, we can rest assured that this world is already won by the power of His blood.
