Steward and Faithful.

As I reflect on my Bible study this morning, I am reminded of the trials of Noah. The Creator of the Universe spoke to him directly, warning him of the impending destruction of the earth. The words “I am destroying this earth with everything that is in it!” Truly, if I was in Noah’s place, my heart would have filled with fear and my mind with doubts. Yet, Noah trusted in God’s plan, even when it seemed unimaginable. My own trials seem small compared to Noah’s, and I am encouraged to trust in God’s sovereignty.

As a human, I am naturally inclined to avoid significant risks, especially when the future is unknown. I stumble over the same rock time and time again, struggling to trust in Gods plan. Until recently, I was not in a place where I was willing to take risks, but God knew I needed to be pushed into the unknown. He closed a big door, one that I thought was essential to my life, and I was left feeling panicked and overwhelmed.

But the Holy Spirit gave me assurance that I must have peace. When we are in a place where we cannot improve our lives, where living in God’s Grace is not possible, thats when God decides to close a door. That door for me is sealed, and I will not try to open it again. I trust that God’s plan and purposes in me are bigger than mine.

The proportion of what is required from us will match the proportion of the trial before us. By God closing that door, it means He is entrusting me with a plan that I dont know, but He knows. And that is what really matters. I am not afraid of the unknown because I am living second by second, faithful and trusting in a God who opens seas, destroys huge walls, and walks on water.

As I continue on this journey, I am reminded that God’s ways are not my ways. He sees the bigger picture, and His plans are always for my good. I trust that He will guide me through the unknown, even when I dont understand what lies ahead.

In conclusion, I am grateful for the trials that have pushed me to trust in Gods sovereignty. I will continue to trust in God’s plan, even when it seems uncertain, because I know that He is always with me.
