Why am I doubting?

As I reflect on my journey, I'm reminded of the greatness of my God. In the midst of pain and struggle, I've come to realize that my impatience and obstinacy have brought me suffering. I've been blind to the enemy's schemes, blaming myself for circumstances beyond my control.

But God's Word reminds me that my fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Like Peter, I've taken my eyes off Jesus, and the waves of doubt and fear have threatened to overwhelm me. Yet, God's grace and goodness prevail, providing me with people who pray and support me.

In surrender, I recognize that I can do nothing without God. He's the One who transforms circumstances, calms storms, and gives peace. As Jesus asked Peter, "Why do you doubt?" (Matthew 14:31), He's asking me the same. Why do I doubt when He's in control?

As I leave everything under Jesus' control, I'm reminded that He's the Master of the universe, commanding waves and storms to obey Him (Matthew 8:26-27). May I trust in His sovereignty, focusing on His power and love, rather than my own limitations. May His peace and presence guide me through life's challenges.
