From Crumbs to a Crown

In a world that often reduces self-worth to external validation, it's easy to fall into the trap of feeling like an option, a mere afterthought in the grand scheme of life. But as a child of God, I am reminded that I am not an option, but a chosen one. Yesterday, as I lay in bed, a gentle whisper from the Holy Spirit echoed in my mind: "You are not an option. You have never been an option. You are a unique, beautiful, and wonderfully made creation." These words resonated deep within my soul, and I knew that I had to hold onto them.

As I reflected on my life, I realized that I had been living according to the world's standards, striving to measure up to unrealistic expectations. But God's word reminds me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). I am a masterpiece, crafted by the hands of a loving Creator who sees me as valuable and precious.

In a culture that often objectifies and commodifies people, it's easy to lose sight of our true worth. But as a child of God, I am reminded that my worth comes from my identity in Christ. I am a daughter of the King, loved beyond measure, and chosen for a purpose. As the apostle Paul wrote, "I am confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).

As I pray for my future husband, I ask that God will see me through His eyes, as a blessing and a gift to him. I pray that He will prepare my heart and the heart of my future husband, that we may walk in alignment with His plan. Marriage is a beautiful gift from God, a union that is not just about love, but about purpose, growth, and becoming stronger together.

In the midst of waiting, I am learning to trust in God's sovereignty. I am not competing with others for attention or validation; instead, I am running a race that is not about earning worth, but about embracing my identity in Christ. As the Bible says, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize" (1 Corinthians 9:24).

As I start this day, I am reminded that I am not just praying for a future husband, but I am also praying for myself. I am praying that I will continue to grow into the woman God has called me to be, a woman who reflects His love, kindness, and grace. I am praying that when the time is right, my future husband will see me as a blessing, a gift from God, and not just a mere option.

In conclusion, I want to leave you with a sense of hope and encouragement. You are not an option; you are a chosen child of God, loved beyond measure. Don't settle for crumbs when you deserve a crown. You are a unique, beautiful, and wonderfully made daughter of the King, and it's time to live like it.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for reminding me of my worth and identity in Christ. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing that I am Your beloved child. Prepare my heart and the heart of my future husband, that we may walk in alignment with Your plan. Give us wisdom, patience, and trust as we navigate this journey. In Jesus' name, Amen.
