Unshaken
In the midst of life's challenges, it's easy to lose sight of God's goodness and grace. As I began my prayer today, I felt a surge of joy and gratitude, but soon, doubts and fears crept in, threatening to steal my peace. The enemy of my soul sought to isolate me in a darkened spot, where fear and uncertainty dwelled. But I knew I wasn't alone in this struggle. The Bible reminds us that "the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
As I prayed and reflected on my journey, I remembered the pain and struggles it took to gain back my faith and find peace in Christ Jesus. But I also remembered the words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13). This verse resonated deep within me, reminding me that my strength comes not from myself, but from God.
In the past year, my spirit has been broken, and my heart has been heavy with pain. But through it all, God's grace has been sufficient. He has restored me, renewed me, and given me new life. As the Bible says, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak" (Isaiah 40:29).
In times of turmoil, it's easy to get caught up in fear and doubt. But as children of God, we have the privilege of coming to Him in prayer, laying our burdens at His feet, and trusting in His goodness. As the Psalmist writes, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22).
My heart is filled with gratitude for the lifeline that God provides. Through Christ, I have found peace, love, and freedom. As I continue on this journey, I am reminded that "the Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O God, endures forever" (Psalm 138:8). May God's peace and presence be with us all, especially in the midst of turmoil and uncertainty.
