Be Still.
Being still doesn’t mean doing nothing.
It means doing only what God asks—
and letting go of everything He didn’t.
Stillness is a posture of the heart.
It’s trusting that while I rest, God moves.
While I pray, God works.
While I remain faithful, God remains unstoppable.
Stillness doesn’t shrink my faith,
It strengthens it.
It reminds me that I don’t always need to chase, push, prove, or strive.
I only need to stand where God placed me,
with a calm heart, open hands, and steadfast trust.
Today, I will not fight for attention, approval, or answers.
I will simply stay aligned,
and let God fight the unseen battles
that my strength, effort, or emotion never could.
Prayer to seal it:
“Lord, help me know when to fight—and when to be still.
Give me the wisdom to recognize the battles that are not mine,
and the peace that comes from knowing You are already working.
I rest in Your power, not mine.”
