I Walked Into Lowe’s Today… And God Walked In With Me
Today, something unexpected happened.
Not a miracle you can touch with your hands yet —
but a miracle that began in my spirit.
Last night, a quiet voice whispered to me:
“Go to Lowe’s tomorrow. Look at the kitchens.”
I heard it again this morning.
Soft, steady, unmistakable.
So I said, “Yes, Lord. I’ll go.”
Not because I needed appliances.
Not because I was planning a renovation.
But because God was preparing my faith for something I haven’t received yet.
Walking by Faith, Not by Sight
When I arrived, I didn’t stroll around like a customer.
I walked like a daughter on assignment.
I looked at microwaves, stoves, layouts…
and then I saw the kitchen —
the one that felt like home.
A voice inside me said:
“Choose it.”
Not “wish for it.”
Not “hope one day.”
But choose it —
as if the blueprint of my future home was already written in heaven.
And then I heard:
“If someone asks, say: ‘I’m choosing the one for the house God is making for me.’”
So I did.
Quietly. Boldly. Without questioning myself.
Because faith isn’t pretending.
Faith is agreeing with God before the evidence shows up.
Preparing for What God Has Promised
I didn’t walk out of Lowe’s with a kitchen.
I walked out with confirmation.
God is not just sustaining me —
He is preparing me.
Preparing me to receive.
Preparing me to steward.
Preparing me to walk into the home, life, and future He is building.
I don’t have the house yet.
But I have the promise.
And sometimes, the promise requires a prophetic step.
Today, mine began in the kitchen aisle.
If You’re in a Waiting Season…
Maybe you’re believing God for something too —
a home, a breakthrough, provision, stability, peace, or restoration.
Hear me:
You’re not running out. You’re being trained for overflow.
God doesn’t tease His daughters.
If He whispered it, He will complete it.
If He led you toward it, He will open the door.
If He asked you to prepare, it’s because something is already moving on your behalf.
Sometimes faith looks like praying.
Sometimes it looks like waiting.
And sometimes…
faith looks like walking through Lowe’s and choosing a kitchen for a house you don’t have yet.
Your Turn
What step of faith is God asking you to take today?
Take it.
Even if it feels small.
Even if it feels strange.
Even if you can’t see the full picture yet.
Your Father can.
