Prayer…

​Father, thank You for reminding me through Your Word that my spiritual inheritance is precious and holy. Just as Esau gave up his birthright for a moment of hunger, teach me not to surrender what is eternal for what is temporary.

Lord, help me recognize the “bowls of stew” in my own life—those things that look urgent, tempting, or satisfying for a moment but can cost me my peace, my purpose, or my closeness to You. Give me wisdom to see beyond the moment. Give me strength to choose what aligns with Your will.

Father, guard my heart from impulsive decisions. Guard my spirit from distractions that try to pull me away from my calling. Help me value the gifts, identity, and purpose You have placed over my life more than any passing desire.

Keep me focused on what matters: my walk with You, my obedience, my character, and the promises You have spoken over me. Let me not trade the spiritual for the flesh, the eternal for the temporary, or Your will for my weakness.

Lord, I choose Your inheritance. I choose Your plan. I choose what leads me closer to You. Strengthen me today so that every decision honors You.
