“You Only Need Me”
As we navigate the challenges of life, it's easy to feel stuck and inadequate. We may feel like we're not enough, or that no one cares about us. But God has a plan and purpose for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10). He wants to prosper us, not to harm us.
The problem is, we often put our expectations in others, waiting for them to rescue us or make us whole. But this can lead to disappointment and despair. The story of the man at the pool of Bethesda is a great reminder of this (John 5:1-15). He was waiting for someone to help him, but Jesus offered him a better way.
God is waiting for our answer - will we say "Yes!" and accept His plan and purpose? We must surrender to His will and accept Him as Lord and Savior (Matthew 11:28-30, Romans 10:9-10). He will not work on us, but we must be willing to accept Him for who He is.
Today, feel His embrace and warmth. He is waiting for your answer. Don't put your expectations in others, but in God. He has a plan and purpose for your life, and it's one of hope and prosperity, not despair and pain.
