6 Years Ago — And Look What God Has Done
Six years ago today, I drove to Texas with a dream in my heart — to work in a gym and help people transform their lives through health and discipline.
At first, everything felt like the beginning of my purpose. I learned, I grew, and I discovered a part of myself I didn’t know existed.
But the most important lesson that season taught me was this: I am called to help people, not take advantage of their need.
And the moment my integrity was challenged, I walked away. Not because it was easy — but because my values were not negotiable.
The months that followed were not gentle.
They were some of the hardest of my life.
I fell into places emotionally and spiritually that felt like a pit.
But even there… God met me.
Leaving that job opened the door for something far more important: time with Him.
Time to attend church, to read His Word, to hear His voice again. And slowly — gently — He restored my strength and rebuilt my hope.
The enemy tried to destroy me more times than I can count.
But Jesus’ blood is stronger.
His authority is greater.
And by His grace alone, I am still standing.
Today, I look back and see how far He has carried me:
✨ Two published devotionals
✨ A ministry-coaching program being built with faith
✨ A renewed mind and a restored spirit
✨ A heart aligned with purpose
✨ A vision clearer than ever before
Life is still not easy. There are days I feel like I’m walking a thin line between two cliffs.
But the difference now is this:
I am not afraid.
Because I know Who is holding me.
I’m in the middle right now — not where I was, not yet where I’m going — but I can see the other side.
I can see the light.
I can see the purpose.
And I know God is carrying me all the way there.
If you are in your “middle,” don’t give up.
God is already guiding your steps to the other side. 🤍✨
