I walk today in His peace, not my fear.

January 17th, 2026

Last night, something happened that I have never experienced before.

I went to bed with a heavy heart — the pressure of my finances, and everything happening around me. I prayed, I gave thanks, and I tried to release it all to God.

But instead of dreaming, my spirit began to pray.

All throughout the night, even when my body was asleep, my spirit was awake — praising God, speaking to Him, resting in Him. Every time I opened my eyes, I found myself still praying, and when I drifted back to sleep, my spirit continued.

There were no dreams.

There was no fear.

There was only communion with God.

This morning I realized something powerful:

My mind was tired, but my spirit was being held by Him.

The Holy Spirit interceded for me while I slept. He didn’t allow my thoughts to wander into fear or anxiety. He covered me, strengthened me, and kept me close.

This was God’s way of reminding me:

✨ “You are not alone.”

✨ “I am fighting for you.”

✨ “Even when you don’t have words, I am with you.”

✨ “Your spirit belongs to Me.”

Today, I choose to walk in that same peace.

If He covered me in my sleep, He will cover me in my day.

If He held my spirit through the night, He will hold my life in His hands.

God, thank You for watching over me.

Thank You for praying through me.

Thank You for giving rest to my mind and strength to my soul.

I trust You with today and everything that comes with it.

Amen.
