There is a difference between existing… and living wisely.

Ephesians 5:15–17 tells us to be careful how we walk — not as unwise, but as wise. That word “careful” means intentional, precise, spiritually alert.

This is not passive Christianity.

We are living in days that are loud, divided, morally unstable, and spiritually confused. Paul says, “The days are evil.” That doesn’t mean panic — it means awareness.

When darkness increases, discernment must increase.

“Redeem the time.”

That means buy it back. Don’t waste it. Don’t spend your emotional energy on what drains your spirit. Don’t give your focus to what distracts you from Christ.

Time is seed.

Where you invest it reveals what you value.

And then Paul says: “Understand what the Lord’s will is.”

God’s will is not hidden in mystery. It is revealed in obedience. It is revealed in holiness, love, unity, humility, Spirit-filled living.

Wisdom is not knowing more — it is living aligned.

The question is not: What is happening in the world?

The question is: How are you walking in it?

We are not called to drift.

We are called to walk intentionally.

Father God,

Teach me to walk wisely today. Open my eyes to see clearly and my heart to discern what truly matters. Guard me from careless living, from reacting emotionally, and from drifting into distraction.

Help me redeem my time. Let me not waste the moments You have entrusted to me. Align my priorities with Your will and my steps with Your truth.

In a world that feels unstable, make me steady. In days that feel dark, make me light. Give me clarity where there is confusion and discipline where there is temptation.

I do not want to live foolishly or impulsively. I want to live aware — aware of Your presence, Your voice, and Your purpose.

Shape my decisions today. Guide my words. Govern my thoughts.

Let my life reflect wisdom rooted in Christ.

In Jesus’ Name, amen.
