When Life Feels Heavy, God Still Sees.
There are seasons in life when everything feels heavier than expected.
These past months have been one of those seasons for me. Financial pressure, unanswered applications, doors that haven’t opened yet, responsibilities piling up, and moments where it feels like the weight of everything is pressing all at once.
Sometimes people look at someone’s life from the outside and assume things are easier than they actually are. But the truth is that many battles are fought quietly, behind closed doors, in prayer, in tears, and in moments where only God knows what is happening inside the heart.
Right now, I am walking through one of those moments.
There are days where I feel overwhelmed. Days where I wish things were moving faster. Days where I wonder when the breakthrough will come. Yet even in the middle of all of this, there is something I hold on to with conviction:
God knows my heart.
He knows that I am trying.
He knows the effort behind every application, every conversation, every opportunity I pursue. He knows the long nights of prayer when no one else sees. He knows the moments where I feel weak but still choose to stand up again the next day.
Sometimes we believe that faith means never feeling tired or discouraged. But the truth is that faith often looks like continuing to move forward despite the exhaustion.
Faith is waking up another day and trying again.
Faith is choosing integrity even when things are difficult.
Faith is remembering who God has been throughout history when your present moment feels uncertain.
When I read the Bible, I see story after story of people who faced overwhelming circumstances. The Israelites stood in front of the Red Sea with nowhere to go. Joshua faced walls that seemed impossible to break. Daniel stood before lions. Lazarus lay in a tomb for four days before life returned.
Those moments looked like the end of the story.
But they weren’t.
God was still writing.
And that is something I remind myself of constantly during this season. My circumstances may feel heavy right now, but they do not define the end of my story.
I don’t share this for sympathy. I share it because I know there are many people who are walking through quiet battles of their own. Moments where things feel uncertain, where the future feels unclear, and where the only thing left to hold on to is faith.
If that is you, know this: you are not alone in your struggle.
Sometimes the bravest thing a person can do is simply keep going.
Even when you are tired.
Even when the answers haven’t come yet.
Even when the world around you feels unstable.
For me, I will keep showing up.
I will keep praying.
I will keep believing that the same God who carried His people through impossible situations still sees me today.
Because even when life feels heavy, one truth remains steady:
God sees.
God knows.
And He is not finished with my story.
