Access Was Never Meant to Be Limited.

Ephesians 3:6–13

There was a time when access to God felt distant, restricted, and almost unreachable. Not because God created distance—but because we were living like we didn’t belong.

But when I read Ephesians 3:6-13, something in my spirit shifts.

This passage isn’t just theology… it’s identity.

Paul reveals a mystery that was once hidden:

That through Jesus, we are now included.

Not as outsiders trying to earn a place… but as heirs, fully brought in.

That means the same access, the same promises, the same authority—belongs to us.

Not because we qualified ourselves… but because Jesus did.

And if I’m honest, this is where many of us struggle.

We say we believe in God…

But we still approach Him like we’re disqualified.

We pray—but with hesitation.

We ask—but with doubt.

We show up—but still feeling like we’re not enough.

But this Word confronts that mindset directly.

It tells us that through Christ, we have boldness and confident access to God.

Not fear.

Not insecurity.

Not distance.

Boldness.

That word alone changes everything.

Because boldness doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from understanding position.

And your position in Christ is not fragile.

It’s established.

Paul also talks about something deeper… purpose.

He says this was God’s eternal plan—to reveal His wisdom through His people.

Think about that.

Your life isn’t random.

Your process isn’t wasted.

Even your struggles aren’t meaningless.

God is revealing something through you.

Even in seasons where it feels like pressure…

Even when things don’t make sense…

There is purpose being formed.

And this is where many people want to give up.

Because pressure will try to convince you that something is wrong.

But Paul says the opposite—he tells them not to lose heart because of his suffering.

Why?

Because what looks like struggle… is actually part of the assignment.

Let me say that again:

What feels like resistance may actually be confirmation.

The enemy wants you to interpret pressure as rejection.

But God is using it as preparation.

So instead of shrinking back…

We stand.

Instead of doubting…

We trust.

Instead of questioning our place…

We walk in it.

Because access has already been given.

You’re not trying to get closer to God—

Through Jesus, you’ve already been brought near.

Father, in the name of Jesus,

Today I come into Your presence not with fear, but with boldness—because Your Word says I have access through Christ.

I break every lie that has made me feel unworthy, distant, or disqualified.

I reject every mindset that tells me I don’t belong in Your presence.

I declare that I am included.

I am chosen.

I am established in You.

Lord, awaken in me a deeper understanding of who I am in Christ.

Let boldness rise where fear once lived.

Let confidence replace hesitation.

Even in the middle of pressure, I will not lose heart.

I declare that what I am walking through is not breaking me—it is building me.

Use my life to reveal Your wisdom.

Use my story to reflect Your glory.

I step into divine access.

I step into purpose.

I step into authority.

And I will not shrink back.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
