Rediscovering Life's Purpose: A Journey Through Trials and God's Love.

As we approach the end of 2024, I find myself reflecting on the past year and the journey that has led me to a profound realization. A conversation with a lady recently sparked this introspection, reminding me of my former perspective on life. She said, "Life is short, and we must enjoy it and live anyway we want. Better sorry than not living." Her words echoed my previous mindset, but now, I see life through a different lens.

Society often defines living as accumulating wealth, possessions, and fleeting pleasures. The lady's response to my question, "What's living life to you?" was telling: "Working and buying the things she wants." This mindset is rooted in the idea that material possessions bring happiness and fulfillment. However, I've come to understand that this perspective is misguided.

Through financial struggles, feelings of loneliness, and spiritual attacks, I've discovered that life is not short; it's a precious gift from God. Trials have driven me to the foot of the cross, where I've found true purpose. I've come to realize that life is not about accumulating possessions or seeking temporary happiness but about living according to God's love and Word.

Scriptures remind us that life's meaning is found in our relationship with God. Psalm 16:11 says, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Jesus teaches us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We are called to be stewards of God's gifts, not slaves to material possessions.

My journey has taught me that past mistakes and desires do not define my present. I trust that God has everything under control, and His plans are for my good (Jeremiah 29:11). As a servant, princess, daughter, and friend of Christ, I've found peace in surrendering to His will. Life is not short; it's a gift to be lived in accordance with God's love and purpose.
